1880 Henry Hosler (age 62) was a farmer living in Green Twp, Noble County, Indiana with his wife Lydia (61) and children Joann (23), Lydia A. (21), and Henry (James H?) (21). [5] [6]

1887 J H Hosler (age 29, born in Ohio) lived in Walla Walla, Washington. [7]

1888 James H Hosler, born Ohio, enlisted on March 3, 1888, at age 27, in the national guard at Stockman, Columbia County, Washington in company F, regiment 2. He was a stockman. His height was 5 feet 8¼ inches and his complexion was dark. [8]

1889 Jas Hosler (age 29, born Ohio), Jacob Hosler (age 44, born Ohio), Belle Hosler (age 24, born Canada), Clare Hosler (age9), Helen Hosler (age 5), and Belle Hosler (age 2) lived in Columbia County, Washington. The children were born in Washington Territory. [9] [10]

1908 James Hosler lived in Washington, according to sister Catherine's obituary.

1910 James H Hosler (age 47, born Ohio) both parents born in Pennsylvania, lived in National, Columbia County, Washington. [13]

1916 James H Hosler died on April 21, in Walla Walla, Washington, at age reported to be 60. He was buried at Dayton, Washington. [14] [15] [16] There is a memorial for him at the Christian Chapel in Merriam, Noble County, Indiana. [17] [18] [19]
