1910 On 8 August, an obituary for mother Mary Moyer reported that daughter Mrs. P.A. Bauers lived in Goshen, Indiana. [1]

1910 Mandy Bauer (age 39, born in Indiana, married for 16 years), wife, lived in Harrison Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana, in a household with Peter A Bauer (age 37), and Beulah Bauer (age 16). Mandy Bauer's parents were both born in Ohio. Mandy Bauer could read and write. [2] [3]

1920 Peter A Bauer (age 46, born in Indiana, married) lived in Harrison Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana, in a household with Amanda Bauer (age 49), and Floyd Penrose (age 11). Peter A Bauer's father was born in Germany and his mother was born in Ohio. Peter A Bauer could read and write. Peter A Bauer was a farmer. [4] [5]

1924 Peter A Bauer was buried at Yellow Creek Brick Cemetery, Southwest, Elkhart County, Indiana. Peter A Bauer was born in 1873. [6]

1926 Amanda Bauer (widow, born 4 May 1879 in Harrison Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana, daughter of George Moyer and Mary Rohrer) and Louis Nelson were married on March 2 in Wakarusa, Elkhart County, Indiana. [7] [8] [9]

1930 Amanda Nelson (age 59, born in Indiana, married, first married at age 25), wife, lived in Madison Twp, St Joseph County, Indiana, in a household with Lewis Nelson (age 65), and Clyde Nelson (age 21). Amanda Nelson's parents were both born in Ohio. [10] [11]

1934 Amanda Nelson, married, spouse of Lewis Nelson, died on April 5, at age 63, in Madison, St Joseph County, Indiana. She was born on May 5, 1871, in Ind, daughter of Geo A Meyer and Mary Meyer. [12] [13]

Mrs. Amanda Nelson, 64, died at 2 o'clock last Thursday morning at her home, seven
miles northwest of Wakarusa. Death was due to dropsy.

Mrs. Nelson was born in
Harrison Township in 1870, the daughter of George and Mary Moyer.

In 1895 she was married to Peter Bauer, who died in 1924.

She married Lewis Nelson in 1926.

Surviving are her husband, three brothers, Emanuel, of Athens, Mich, George M of
Colorado Springs, Colo, and John R of Nappanee, a stepdaughter, Mrs Beulah Bauer
Kehr of Harrison Township, and a step-son, Clyde Nelson, of Harrison Township.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon with a service at the home at 1:30 and one at the
Yellow Creek Mennonite Church at 2 o'clock. The Rev M. Knepper of the Mishawaka
Evangelical Church officiated.

Mrs. Nelson was a member of Evangelical denomination.

Burial in the Yellow Creek cemetery.

1941 Lewis Nelson, widowed, died on November 26, at age 76, in Bourbon, Marshall County, Indiana. He was born on December 24, 1865, in Ind, son of Wm Nelson and Katharine Nelson. [14]

1941 Lewis Nelson was buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Madison Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana. Lewis Nelson was born in 1864. [15] [16]
