1814 Samuel Weigle and wife Margaret sold land to Henry Bernhart. Dated March 15. [1]

1830 Samuel Wigle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 3 (age Under 5), 2 (age 5 thru 9), and 1 (age 40 thru 49); Females: 1 (age 20 thru 29). John Coover, Ephraim Watters, and Francis Fast, listed nearby, were listed near Henry Weigle in the 1820 census, suggesting that Samuel inherited his father's farm. [2]

1840 Saml Wygle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 1 (age Under 5), 1 (age 5 thru 9), 2 (age 10 thru 14), 3 (age 15 thru 19), and 1 (age 60 thru 69); Females: 1 (age 5 thru 9), 1 (age 10 thru 14), and 1 (age 40 thru 49). [3]

1842 Sarah Wigle, wife of Samuel died on April 6, 1842 and was buried at Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in German Twp, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [4] [5]

1850 Samuel Wygle (age 50) lived in Nicholson, Fayette County, Pennsylvania with John Wygle (age 23), David Wygle (age 22), James Wygle (age 21), Jefferson Wygle (age 18), Amanda Wygle (age 17), Josiah Wygle (age 16), and Samuel Wygle (age 9). [6]

1860 Samuel Wigle (age 68, born in Maryland) lived in Nicholson, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, at post office Repparts Cross Roads, with Samuel Wigle (age 22). [7]

1868 Samuel Wigle died in March at age 79 and was buried at Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in German Twp, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [8] [9]
