1870 Sarah Bouls (age 4, born in Kansas) lived in Kentucky, Jefferson County, Kansas, in a household with Wilson Bouls (age 33), Lidia Bouls (age 23), and Leone E Bouls (age 2). [1] Perhaps this was Elizabeth Sarah, future spouse of Austin L. Chronister, whose 1948 obituary named sisters Addie and Leona.

1870 Joseph and Anna Chronister lived in Reading, Adams County, Pennsylvania with children Laura (age 12), Willis (age 10), Clara (age 6), Lafayette (age 4), and Austin (age 1). [2] [3]

1880 Joseph and Annie Chronister lived in Cheever Twp, Dickinson County, Kansas with children Laura V. Luke (daughter, age 21), Willis (age 19, Carpenter), Clara (age 16), Austin (age 12), John (age 9), Newton (age 7), and Ira Wolfe (StepSon, age 27, Laborer, father and mother born in PA). [4] [5]

1885 Austin Chronister lived in Scott, Kansas with his parents. [6]

1892 Joseph Chronister, Austin L Chronister, and Willis W. Chronister, carpenters, lived at 23 Union blk., Leadville, Colorado. [7]

1900 A.L. Chronister (age 32, born Dec 1868, born PA with parents born Ohio) was a partner with several other persons in Ouray, Ouray, Colorado. AL Chronister was a carpenter. The other partners are carpenter, bar tender, and musician. [8] [9]

1910 Austin L Chronister married Elizabeth Pearson on March 27, in Oxford, La Plata County, Colorado. [10] [11] [12]

1910 Austin L Chronister (age 42, born PA, and parents born PA) lived in Denver, Colorado. He had been married to Elizabeth Chronister for 3 months, both second marriages. Austin was a cabinet maker. [13] [14] [15]

1929 Austin L. Chronister was a co-partner of The Inspiration Stage Company in Miami, Arizona. [16] [17]

1930 Austin L. Chronister (age 59, born Pennsylvania) and Elizabeth Chronister (age 59) lived in Miami, Gila County, Arizona. Austin was first married at age 39. [18] [19]

1940 Austin Chronister (age 71, born Pennsylvania) and Elizabeth Chronister (age 67) lived in Albany, Alameda, California with Russel and Gladys Smith. [20] [21]

1940 Leona E Oliver (age 71, born in Missouri, widowed), mother-in-law, lived in Denver, Denver County, Colorado, in a household with Francis E Ness (age 22), Janet Ness (age 22), and Virginia Ness (age 1). The highest grade of school she had completed was Elementary school, 8th grade. [22] Perhaps Leona was Elizabeth's sister.

1945 Austin Leonard Chronister died on October 25 in Alameda County, California. He was born on November 17, 1868, in Pennsylvania, son of Chronister. [23]

1948 Elizabeth Sarah Chronister died on June 4 in Alameda County, California. She was born on July 8, 1871, in Kansas, daughter of Boles. [24]

1948 Elizabeth Sarah (Boles) Chronister was buried at Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito, Contra Costa County, California. Elizabeth Sarah Chronister was born in 1871. [25] [26]
