Baughman, Margaret (Swigart) -- Thursday. Margaret Baughman died in Noble County, Indiana, November 17th. and was buried on the 19th. at Noblesville. The subject of this sketch was born 1817 at Canton, Stark County, Ohio. She moved with her father, John Swigart, to Richland County, near Ashland, in 1822, and later moved with her father to Monroe Township, near Lucas. About 10 years ago she went to Indiana to reside with her husband. She had seven children, four living, three sons and one daughter. She also leaves five brothers and two sisters. She was a member of the Lutheran church for over fifty years. Her husband, Gideon Baughman, survives her. She was 72 years, 6 months and 25 days old. Submitted by Amy. John Jr. Swigart's sons Solomon and Abram and daughter Margaret Swigart Baughman and husband moved to Albion, Nobel County and Columbia, Whitley County Indiana in 1853. Their party included their aunt Christina Young Baughman and her husband all moving from Richland County Ohio.
