Joel Good who recently passed away in Waterloo, Ont., was known by many of our Canadian friends in this county, having made a number of visits to Kansas in former years. He was born in Lancaster Co. Pa., Dec. 29, 1815, hence was nearly 97 years old. He was married twice, his second wife having passed away over a year ago. Mr. Good was survived by eight sons, Jonathan and Nelson of Berlin, Ont., Isaac of this city, David of Springfield, Mo., Franklin and Elias of Waterloo, Ont., Dr. Ezra of Plainfield, N. J., Dr. Milton of Hamilton, Ont., and Dr. Robert of Chicago, and two daughters Mrs. Enoch Erb and Mrs. Andrew Neuber, both of Waterloo, Ont.

The deceased was a lifelong member of the Evangelical church and made many liberal donations toward the cause of Christendom.
