1598-1603 Ralph Farnham was born, based on (aged 32 in 1635 [Hotten 108] and under age 20 in will of Henry Farnham). [1]
1628-1633 "In the register of St. Nicholas parish, Rochester, county Kent (at the Centre for Kentish Studies, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent) were found the following baptisms:
Mary, the daughter of Ralph Farnam was baptized the 13th [of July 1628]
Thomas the sonn of Ralph Farman Barber was Baptized the 10th day of April 1631
Ralph the sonn of Ralph Forman was Baptized the 4th day of Aug 1633" [2]
1628 Ralph Farnham was married to Alice by 1628. She married, second, at Gloucester 18 June 1648 Solomon Martin ("Solloman Martin, ship carpenter, and Ales Varnam, widow, of Ipswich").
1635 On 13 July, "Ralph Farman," barber, aged 32, "Alice Farman," aged 28, "Mary Farman," aged 7, "Tho[mas] Farman," aged 4, and "Ralph Farman," aged 2, were enrolled at London as passengers for New England on the James (matching the baptisms 1628-1633)[Hotten 108]. [3]
1639 Ralph Farnham granted to "[blank] Varneham, three acres of that planting ground, formerly Mr. Bradstreet's," 1639 [ITR].
1640 Ralph Farnham was chosen at Ipswich "for ringing the bell, keeping clean the meetinghouse and publishing such things as the town shall appoint," [Ipswich Hist 1:66].
1648 Ralph Farnham had died by 1648 when his widow remarried.

In 1994 Russell C. Farnham published an article demonstrating the English origin of Ralph Farnham [4], and in 1999 he published a two-volume genealogy of this immigrant's descendants. [5]

4. Sarah, born c 1638; married (1) 26 April 1658 George Abbott Jr. at Andover [EQC 2:121]; married (2) 1 August 1689 Henry Ingalls at Andover.
5. John, born say 1642; married 12 November 1667 Rebecca Kent at Andover [EQC 3:467].
