1695 On 1 month, day 25, Martin Scott was listed among the residents of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County. [1]

1697 Martin Scott indentured a Scotish boy named James Haddgard of James Trent and wanted the court to establish the years of indenture. [2]

1699 May 12. Martin Scott, perhaps this one, deed to John Watson, both of Nottingham, Burlington County, yeomen, for a plantation of 400 acres there, above the Falls of Delaware, bought of George Hutcheson May 21, 1695, and 5 acres bought of Thomas Lambert, Joshua Wright and William Emley April 4, 1699. 1700 Martin Scott and Henry Scott served on the jury for a case involving Ann Salter in Burlington County, New Jersey. [4]

1699-1700 March 24. John Wills of Northampton River, Burlington County, yeoman, deed to Martin Scott of the same county, yeoman, for 853 acres, of which 146 ½ in the Second Tenth were bought of Elias ffarr Feb. 23, 1686-87, 240 acres in Eversham Township of Thomas Kendall Feb. 2, 1694-95, and 467 acres were conveyed to grantor by his father Daniel Wills March 20, 1697-98. 1701 Martin Scott served on the grand jury in Burlington County, New Jersey. [6]

1702 On 19 June, the will of Martin Scott, yeoman of Eversham, Burlington County, named Brother John Scott principal heir with legacies to brothers-in-law Thomas Lambert and Edward Lucas, sister Elizabeth Scott, cousin John Lambert, friend Richard Bickham. "My Estate." Executors: brother John Scott, Thomas Lambert and John Lambert. Witnesses: Joshua Wright and Alce Bingham. Proved November 3, 1702. [7] [8]

1702 Oct. 2. Inventory of the estate £862.4.1, of which £600 stands for the plantation, the rest personal; made by Thomas Gardiner. [9]

1702 Nov. 3. Bond of Thomas and John Lambert of Nottingham as executors. Henry Grubb and Joshua Wright, fellow bondsmen. [10]
