1685 Johannes Bowman was born in Thun, Bern, Switzerland. [1]

1698 John Bowman emigrated from Switzerland to Holland about this time. [2]

1708 John Bowman emigrated to Pennsylvania. [3]

1711 John Bowman was reportedly among the early patentees of land in Pennsylvania. [4]

1717 Johannes Bowman was a Mennonite minister and arrived in PA in 1717.

1735 Johannes Bowman was a Mennonite preacher in the northern part of Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, now Lebanon county. [5]

1743 John Bowman, perhaps this Johannes, received a land warrant for 200 acres in Lebanon county. [6]

1122. Johannes Bowman, b. c1668. He died at Strasburg Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on 10 Jan 1738. He was a Mennonite minister. He arrived in Pennsylvania in 1717. He was married to Barbara.
