Henry Road married first Barbara Stoner (d. before 1801), daughter of Abraham Stoner of Manheim Township and had two sons according to his will. [2]

He named his four children in his will: John and Henry (sons of first wife Barbara who was an heir of Abraham Stoner) and Esther and Feronica (daughters of wife Esther who was a daughter of Rudolph Miller). He signed his will "Henry Roat". The executors were sons John and Henry and friend Henry Brenneman. [10]
