1756 Jacob Brenneisen [Brenn Iron] was taxed, as a freeman (unmarried) in Earl Township, Lancaster County. [1] [2]

1767 The land of Jacob Breneison, in Lebanon Twp, was described in a deed as next to land of Conrad Metzinger, Peter Slouser, Joseph Serick, Adam Waggoner, Peter Heilman, Peter Benedick. [3]

1769 Andrew Gehr and wife Salome sold two tracts of land to John and Catharina Brennizen on April 10. [4]

1772 Jacob Brenizi was taxed in Earl Town, Lancaster County for 26 acres 1 cattle, and 1 horse. [5] [6]

1773 Jacob Brenise was taxed in Earl Twp, Lancaster County for 26 acres 1 cattle, and 1 horse. [7]

1776 Jacob Brinson was a private in the York Co Militia and apprehended British deserters under Sergeant John Wetzell. [8]

1779 Jacob Brenneissen's widow was on the tax list for Earl Twp, Lancaster County. [9]

1782 Widow Brenneisen, perhaps the widow of Jacob Brenneisen, was on the tax list for 36 acres in Earl Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [10]

1783 At the request of Philip Roth and wife Juliana, daughter of Jacob Breneisen, deceased, late of Earl Twp, the Lancaster County Orphans Court ordered Valentine and Juliana Breneisen to appear and settle the account of the estate of Jacob Breneisen in Earl Twp, Lancaster County. Dated June 3. [11]

1783 The Lancaster County Orphans Court ordered Valentine and Juliana Breneisen to appear and settle the account of the estate of Jacob Breneisen in Earl Twp, Lancaster County. Dated September 2. [12]

1784 John Breneisen, eldest son of Jacob Breneisen petitioned the Lancaster County Orphans Court to value the land of the estate regarding a partition. Dated November 2. [13] [14]

The final settlement named widow Juliana, John Breneisen, eldest son, Jacob Shirk and Elizabeth his wife, Philip Rode and Catherine his wife, John Howry and Susannah his wife, Mary Breneisen, and Jacob Breneisen. [15]

1785 The estate of Jacob Brennizen was settled by the Lancaster Orphans' Court and eldest son John Brenneisen paid dividends to the other heirs. Dated March 2. [16]

1786 The estate of Jacob Brenneison, late of Earl Twp, Lancaster County, perhaps this Jacob Brenneisen, was settled and the heirs released John Brenneisen according to a dividend made by the Orphans' Court of Lancaster County on 2 March 1785, excepting the dower of widow Julianna. Heirs were Jacob Shirk and wife Elizabeth, Philip Roth and wife Catharina, John Howry and wife Susanna, George Sewickly guardian for minor Mary Brenneisen, and John Bitzer guardian for minor Jacob Brenneisen. Deed dated February 6. [17] [18]

1786 John Brenneisen and wife Catharina of Earl Twp, sold land to Philip Roth on February 6. The land had been sold to John's father Jacob Brenneisen by Andrew Gehr and wife Salome on April 10, 1769. The other heirs of Jacob Brenneisen were named as above. [19]
