1880 John A. Cohran (age 56, born in Georgia, married) lived in Cains, Paulding County, Georgia, in a household with Betsey A. Cohran (age 56), Jobe Cohran (age 21), George W. Cohran (age 19), Nancey J. Cohran (age 14), and Samantha Cohran (age 11). John A. Cohran's father was born in Georgia and his mother was born in South Carolina. John A. Cohran was a farmer. [10]

1887 Mrs. Elizabeth Cohron was taxed for 140 acres on the estate of John A Cohron deceased in Umphries, Paulding County, Georgia. The listing also had entries for Job Cohron, George W Cohron, and William N Cochron. Note that the name Cochron was spelled differently for William than for the others, suggesting that he might be from a different family. This is a possible match to widow Elizabeth and two sons Job and George. The listing was dated 1883-87 but the most recent page with a date recorded 1887. [14] [15]

1890 Elizabeth Cohron was taxed in Paulding County, Georgia. There were also listings for Job and George W. Cohron, with no land. [16]

1900 Elizabeth Cohron (born in Georgia in May 1865, widowed, perhaps widow of Job) lived in Humphrey, Paulding County, Georgia, in a household with Joseph D Cohron (15), Benjamen F Cohron (13), James C Cohron (11), and Jobe D Cohron (8). Elizabeth Cohron's parents were both born in North Carolina. Elizabeth Cohron was a farmer. Elizabeth Cohron's residence was f. [17]

1923 Frances M. Cochran died on June 8 in Cobb County, Georgia. [18]

1929 Sinthia Temperns Marlow, widowed, died on September 17, at age 81, in Paulding County, Georgia. She was born in Oct in Georgia, daughter of John A Choran and Bettiean Parsons. [19]

1954 Cora Elizabeth Choran (perhaps the widow of Job Cohran) died and was buried at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, Paulding County, Georgia. Cora Elizabeth Choran was born in 1865. [20] [21]
