1702/03 On 25 of month 11 (February), Hannah Sotcher, daughter of John and Mary Sotcher, was born. [1]

1732 John Satcher, one of the leaders of Falls Monthly Meeting, being removed by death, this meeting appoints Joseph Kirkbride, Junior, in his stead. Page 353, June 3.

1748 Paper of condemnation from Joseph Kirkbride for his drinking strong liquor to excess. Page 465, June 1.

1748 Joseph Kirkbride of Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania dated his will 21 May 1748 with probate date 22 July 1748. Executors were wife Sarah and brothers-in-law Nicholas Austin and Mark Watson. Son Joseph to inherit the plantation at age 21. Five daughters: Phebe, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth, and Sarah. Land in Jerseys to be sold. Witnessed by Henry Wilson, Michael Hutchinson and Ann Hutchinson. [3]

1749 Whereas Joseph Kirkbride by his last will gave £100 toward a Free School. Page 472, April 5.

1775 "Joseph Kirkbride the elder, late of Falls Twp, yeoman, sold land to William Doyle subject to rent interest for his daughter Jane (since married to Samuel Smith) who sold her interest to Israel Pemberton of Philadelphia, merchant. Israel acknowledges payment by William Doyle. Bk 18 page 451 May 17, 1775"
