1720 The sloop Margaret, of John Kirle, arrived in Philadelphia from South Carolina, on August 11, after 10 days. John Kirle reported that an Irish renegade had taken several English vessels to St Augustine. [3]

1748 John Keirll and William Atkinson witnessed a deed of Alice Nelson, Thomas Nelson, and cordwainer Euclidus Longshore to William Bidgood in Bucks County. [8]

1758 A letter addressed to John Keirl was left in the post office of Philadelphia on 21 December 1758. [9]

1764 John Keirll received land from John Booz, both of Bristol Twp, in payment for a debt due to John Keirll, on July 17. [10]

1764 The will of John Keirll of Bristol Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Yeoman, was dated August 24, 1764 and proved July 4, 1769. Plantation where I live on Borough of Bristol to be sold, proceeds to Kinsmen and Kinswomen Thomas, John, Alexander, James, Keirll, Rachel, and Mary Rickey, Catharine Hutchinson, and Ann Kirkbride, children of Alexander and Ann Rickey. 1769 "To be sold by the subscriber, executors to the estate of John Keirll, deceased, a plantation, in Bristol township, containing 117 acres (be it more or less) pleasantly situated on the river Delaware, about 2 miles from Bristol, on the road leading from thence to Trenton Ferry, about 50 acres thereof cleared, whereon is a frame dwelling house, and barn, the other part wood land, part of which is good swamp, which, when cleared, will make excellent meadow. Also a lot of ground in the brought of Bristol, extending in length, 6 perches and 3 quarters, on Mulberry street, and in breadth 5 perches, and 3 quarters, on Cedar street, containing near one quarter of an acre. For further particulars, enquire of Keirll Rickey, and Mahlon Kirkbride, junior, executors." [17]

1770 "To be Sold at public vendue, on the 21st of April inst. by the subscribers, executors of John Keirll, deceased, on the premises, a plantation in Bristol township, Bucks county, containing 117 acres, be it more or less, pleasantly situated on the river Delaware, about 2 miles from Bristol, on the road leading from thence to Trenton Ferry, about 50 acres thereof cleared, whereon is a good frame dwelling house, and good barn, the other part woodland, part of which is good swamp, which, when cleared, will make excellent meadow. Also a lot of ground in the borough of Bristol, extending in length 6 perches and 3 quarters on Mulberry street, and in breadth 5 perches and 3 quarters on Cedar street, containing near one quarter of an acre. For further particulars, enquire of Keirll Rickey, and Mahlon Kirkbride, jun. living in the Falls township, Bucks county, near the Falls meeting house. All persons indebted to the estate of John Keirll, late of Bristol township, deceased, are desired to pay off their respective debts by the 1st of June next, or they may expect further trouble." 1770 Keirll Rickey and Mahlon Kirkbride, both of Falls Twp, acting as executors for the estate of John Keirll, deceased, sold a lot of land to Simms Betts, of Bristol Twp, on September 29. The lot was in Bristol Boro at the intersection of Cedar and Mulberry Streets. John Keirll had purchased the land from Edward Southwood on May 5, 1736. [19]

The name Keirll has been transcribed as Kevill by some abstractors.

1731 Sarah, daughter of Jonathan (deceased) and Martha Carle, was baptized on September 16, at St. George's Church in Hempstead, Long Island. [20]

1766 Peter Keirl [Kirl] (relationship unknown) was named in the estate of John Schooley who died in Nottingham in 1748.
