Her Father, The Rev. Dr. James E. Shannon performed the wedding ceremony uniting her with William Good in her home at 1333 West Third Street in Marion, Grant County, Indiana.
Her ruby engagement ring was given to her daughter, Lois Anne Haines, when she was old enough to appreciate its sentimental value. It has been passed on to her daughter, Martha Lynn Wolfe, to pass on to her daughter, Shannon Marie Brown, when she is old enough to appreciate its sentimental value.
