1717 Henry Neff was born in Baden, Germany and arrived in Pennsylvania in 1717.

Henry Neff had at least 5 children by his first wife and he married secondly to Frena and probably did not have any children by Frena.

1718 Hance Henry Neff 20 [pounds] £0.5.0 appeared on the tax list for Conestogoe Rate, Dutch Inhabitants, Chester County, Pennsylvania. [1] [2] [3]

1719 Hance Henry Neff value 37 pounds was taxed £0.12.4 in Conestogoe Twp. [4] [5]

1721 John Henry Neff, perhaps this one, was taxed in Conestoga Twp, Lancaster County. [6]

1722 Henry Neff was granted 150 acres in Lancaster Twp on 13-14 Mar 1722.

1724 Hans Henry Neaff, perhaps this one, was taxed in Conestoga Twp, Lancaster County. [7]

1728 Heinrich Naff signed the oath of allegiance to King George of England to be naturalized in Pennsylvania, which allowed him to hold land as a citizen. He was on the list of Mennonites. [8]

1733 Henry Neif [the elder, as suggested by the 1741 warrant for Henry Neff junior] warranted two tracts, each of 200 acres, on NW Br (of the Conestoga?) Hempfield Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Dated January 11. [9] [10] Return date was 2 June 1741. The survey reported 308 acres in Hempfield Twp, part of 820 acres surveyed to him the 22 of October 1736 by two prop'y warrants each for 200 acres. The survey was dated 29 May, 1741. The land was adjacent to land of John Bumgarner, John Hestout, John Neaf, James Webb, John Newcommet, and Christian Beelman. [11] [12]

1741 Henry Neif Jr, perhaps nephew to this Hans Heinrich, warranted a tract of 181 acres on L Br Conestoga Creek. Dated June 23. [13] The return date was 23 June, 1741. The land was adjacent to land of John Hestout, John Neaf, and Christian Care. Hebry Neif Jun. 181 acres ... situate on a branch of little Conestogoe Creek in Lancaster County, being part of 820 acres surveyed to Henry Neaf ye elder on 22 October 1736. Henry Neif had 2 warrants both on ye 11th of January 1733, each for 200 acres and this tract is part of a larger tract surveyed in pursuance of both of those warrants. Survey dated 25 May 1741. [14] [15] John Neif had a similar warrant on the same dates with survey map showing his tract between lands of Henry Neff junior and Henry Neff senior. [16] [17] The tract for John Hestout was also part of the division of land [18].

1745 Henry Neff's will, written in German, was proved on April 6, 1745. Witnesses to the will were Jacob Brubaker and Jost Mosser. [19]

1751 Henry Neff sold the land purchased in 1722 to Sebastian Graff. Dated June 8, 1751. Witnesses to the deed were Frantz Neff and Abraham Neff. Henry was called a doctor of Physics on the deed.
