The heirs Molsey Catoe, Carolin Brown, Jon C Catoe, Minor Catoe, and Elizabeth Kensington signed an agreement regarding a share of 1/8 of the estate for the heirs of deceased daughter Barbara Allen. The petition was witnessed by R. Hinson and L. D. Robertson (image 320). An appraisal was witnessed by several of the heirs (image 331). A receipt listed payments to J. B. Cowart and B. F. Hinson (image 347). The original will named the inheritors of the 8 parts of the estate (images 375-380, out of order). [10]
1880 John E Catoe and A R Frank Catoe were administrators for the estate of Molsey Catoe, deceased, in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The probate date was October 27, 1880. A petition of John E Cato stated that Molsey Catoe died on April 30, 1880. [11]
