Witneses: Wm and Ann Kerby, Charles, Rachel, Jacob and Jonathan Taylor, Thomas, Elizabeth, Amos, Thomas, Jr., Deborah, Margaret, Abigail Wright, John Cheshire, Richard French, John Sykes, Caleb Shreve, Paul Marchant, Joseph Reckless and others. 1742 William French, perhaps this one, was named in the estate inventory of Jonathan Parker, Jr of Upper Freehold, Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Dated October 30. [7]

1745 William French, perhaps this one, was a freeholder in Mansfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. Dated April 15. [8]

1748 William French married Lydia Taylor, on September 20, of Bordentown, New Jersey. [9] [10]
