1549 On June 12 the Queen confirmed the charter of Hugh Campbell of Loudoun, dated June 7, 1548, in which Hugh sold land in Ayr to John Lockhart of Bar and his wife Alison Mure. [1]

1557/1558 On February 3 the Queen confirmed the charter of John Lockhart, dated January 4, 1557, in which John sold the land he had purchased from Hugh Campbell of Loudoun to Hugh Wallace. [2]
