Married Ann Margaret Weaver on October 31, 1823 in Carlisle, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. David Wise was a sheriff, a justice of the peace, and one time had a livery stable. 1876 The will of David Wise, of Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio, was produced by witnesses H.C. Hedges and Henry Wise. The will was dated February 6, 1872 and was proved on January 11, 1876. The estate was divided half to son Henry and half to the wife. Upon the death of the widow, her half was to be divided as: $50 was for the daughter of son John, and the remainder into 5 parts with 2 parts for son Frank and one part to each daughter. [5]
