1551-1553 A Mr. Hunt, recorder, was mentioned in the account of the chamberlains of the Borough of Leicester. [1]

1496 A Hugh Hunt died on June 12. His IPM states, [2]

1223. Hugh Hunt.
Writ 12 July, 11 Hen. VII; inq. 29 Oct., 12 Hen. VII.
He was seised of the under-mentioned messuages and land in fee, and being so seised gave them to William Kent, elk., rector of Stony Stanton, Edward Dawekyn, elk., rector of Kyrkeby Malary, William Lyngham of Weston, and Henry Colyns of Coventry, the younger, * grasyar,' in fee.
He died 12 June last. William Hunt, chaplain, aged 24 and more, is his son and heir.
Leic. Three messuages, four tofts, and eight virgates of land, worth 31., in Burbage, held of George, Earl of Kent, service unknown.
A fourth part of a virgate of land in Aston Flamvyle, worth 2s., held of the said Earl, service unknown.
Three cottages and four acres of meadow in Hynkley, worth 40s., held of the King, as of the duchy of Lancaster, service unknown.

1468-1469 A Thomas Hunt, glover, was admitted as a freeman of Leicester. [3]

1397 A John Hunt of Leicester granted a tenement in the parish of St. Martin to his wife Edith. [4]

1328-1329 A Roger le Hunte de Glenfield, was admitted as a freeman (member of the Gild) of Leicester. [5]
