1543 Thomas Polsted was admitted by patrimony on July 13 to the Company of Merchant Taylors of London. [1]

1544 "___ Quynby son of John Quynby of Ferneham co. Surrey clothman," was "apprenticed to Thomas Polsted merchant tailor. N. July 5, 36 Hen. viii." [2]

c1548 "Broad Street 4s. ____ Pace s. of John P. of Lyn co. Norfolk gentleman, appr. of Ralph ____ cit. and Merchant Taylor. Served with same and with Thomas Polsted by commission of the court. Witness aforesaid warden. Adm. on said day and year. Entry N. _____ Ed. vi. Fee 4s." [3]

1563 Thomas Polsted, son of Thomas Polsted, was admitted on June 18 to the Company of Merchant Taylors of London. [4]
