1670/71 Richard Townsend was born about January 14. "His mother, Elizabeth (Wickes) Townsend, took control of his father's intestate estate and made a complete arrangement on the 8th day second month of 1671, in which she said her "Sun Richard Townesend [was] now Twelve weeks old." [1]
