1858 John Crosby of Shelby County, Kentucky dated his will on September 30, 1858. The will named wife Susan E Crosby and children Gnoath M Crosby, William A Crosby, Calvin T Crosby, Nancy T Crosby and John H Crosby. The interests of the children were described as though they were minors. Brother Calvin Crosby and son Gnoath M Crosby were named executors to act as guardian for son John Harvey Crosby. Probate at the November term 1858. [1]
