1261 45/434 (18 May 1261)
18 May. St. Paul’s, London. Huntingdonshire. William of Hartshill and Matilda, his wife, give 20s. for a pone. Order to the sheriff of Huntingdonshire. [1]

1261/62 46/249 (16 March 1262)
[No date, but an alternative date, ‘16 March’, is given for this entry in the originalia roll, E 371/26, m. 4.] Concerning taking the lands of William of Hartshill into the king’s hand. Because William of Hartshill, who held from the king in chief, has died, as the king has heard, order to William de Weilond, the king’s escheator on this side of the Trent, to take all lands and tenements formerly of the aforesaid William in his bailiwick on the day he died into the king’s hand without delay, and to cause them to be safely kept until the king orders otherwise. Lincoln. Inq. made at Lincoln on Monday before St. Edmund the King and Martyr, 19 Edw. I.

Saleby. The manor (extent given) held as dower through the death of the said William of the heirs of Henry de Longo Campo by service of 1 knight's fee, and rendering 10s. yearly to the prior of Sixel', 2s. to Andrew de Nevill, 3s. to Thomas de Riggesby, 20d. to Agnes daughter of William de Strubby, and 16d. to Roger de Strubby.

William, son of John de Hardredishull, aged 22 at Palm Sunday last, is her next heir.
