1639 "Thomas the sonne of Robert Taylor ye younger was baptized the vjth day" (on January 6, 1638/39) at Dronfield Parish, Derbyshire, England. [1] [2] Thomas was buried soon after (xxiith day?). [3]

Did Robert Taylor have another son named Thomas, or was there another family with son Thomas?

1659 Thomas Taylor, was among 31 Quakers who were subjected to violence by government officials at Dronfield, Derbyshire, England because they were having a meeting. Dated June 20. [4]

1665 A justice of the peace took the names of Quakers at a meeting at North Wingfield, Derbyshire, England. Dated September 3. They were ordered to appear at Chesterfield on September 14. Thirteen of them, including Thomas Taylor, were kept at the house of corrections for about three weeks. [5]

1701 Thomas Taylor witnessed a deed from William Lawrence to son John Lawrence for land in Shrewsbury Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Thomas Taylor appeared before Lewis Morris, Majesty's Justice. [6]

1702 William and wife Rebecca Dockwra, merchant of London, sold land to Thomas Taylor of Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, East New Jersey. Dated February 2. The land was on Assinpink stream and land of Thomas Coxe. [7]
