1791 The account of the estate of Isaac Ivins [father of Mary Davis] named his 32 living children and grand-children, including Mary Davis, and her ten children: Isaac Davis, Ann Davis (now wife of Jn Ely), Mary (now the wife of Jos. Rockhill), Merope (now the wife of Jn Bransen), Jonathan Davis, William Davis, Hannah (now the wife of D. Silvers), Abby (now the wife of Chas Robbins), Job Davis, Ivins Davis, each of whom received 1/32 share of the estate. 1802 Several heirs of William Davis sold land to Joseph Rockhill [perhaps a son-in-law of William Davis] and Jonathan Davis [perhaps a son of William Davis]. The heirs were Ann Ely, Meribah Branson, Hannah Silver, Abigale Robins, William Davis, & Ivins Davis, all heirs to the estate of William Davis, late of Burlington County, deceased. The tract was in Burlington County by the mill creek corner to Joseph Hopkins and lands of Samuel Kirby, Samuel Wright Hartshorn?, John Pancoast, Joseph Davis, and other landmarks. The deed was dated March 28. [2]

1804 Johathan Davis and Joseph Rockhill, both of New Hanover Twp, sold land to Moses Ivins, of Chesterfield Twp. They had purchased the land from heirs of William Davis in 1802. [3]

1811 Johathan Davis and wife Ruth, of New Hanover Twp, sold land to Samuel Hartshorn. The deed was dated the thirteenth day of the third month. [4]

1830 Mary Davis, Nancy Davis, and Ruth Davis, as children and heirs of Jonathan Davis, sold land to William Davis Jr and Jonathan Davis, all of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County. Each of the daughters received a one fifth share of the estate, subject to dower rights of the widow. The deed was dated April 8. [5]

1830 Jonathan Davis and wife Mary sold land to William Davis, Jr, all of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County. Jonathan Davis [senior], deceased father of Jonathan Davis, had purchased the land from John Brogman in 1807. The deed was dated April 8. [6]

1830 Jonathan Davis lived in New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey in a household with males: 2 (10 thru 14) and 5 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (under 5) and 2 (20 thru 29). [7]

1840 William Davis Jr sold land to Ruth Davis Jr, both of Hanover Twp, Burlington County. The deed was dated April 10. [8]
