Notes for Sarah Ivins

1787 Daniel Hancock was named as the guardian of Sarah Ivins, regarding a citation to Joseph Ivins, son of Solomon Ivins. Dated May 3. The notation "son of Solomon" appears to be a different handwriting. [1] This series of documents includes the final account for Joseph Ivins, which mentions Joseph Ivins' part of the estate of Isaac Ivins, deceased. This suggests that estate was for Joseph Ivins the son of Isaac, not Solomon. Perhaps grandson Joseph, son of Solomon, was called as a witness in the settlement of the estate of grandfather Joseph. Sarah might have been a daughter of Solomon.

1787 Rebecca Swift, wife of Thomas Swift, commanded that the account of the estate of Joseph Ivins by Thomas Scattergood be reviewed. Dated October 12. [2] The auditors were to submit a determination between Thomas Scattergood and Daniel Hancock, the guardian of Sarah Ivins, grand-daughter of Joseph Ivins. [3]
