1464 "Grant from William Vernon, knt., to John fil. Hen. Bothe, William son and heir of the said John, and Henry the son of the last-named William, of an annual rent of six marks from lands in Egynton. Dat. F. of Tr. of St. Thomas [7 July], 4 Edw. IV. [1464]. (Every.)" [3]

1465 "Grant from John Bothe of Erleston, esq., son and heir of Henry Bothe, to Henry de Rolleston, son of John Rolleston of Swerkeston, of a messuage in Egynton called Semereplace, and all other lands, meadows, fisheries, etc., which were sometime Richard Rolleston's in" Egynton' and Hulton' Witnesses: John Lathebury of Egynton' esquire, William Bracley of same, William Clerke of same, Thomas Schyrley of Hulton', Henry Waren of same. 1468 "Grant from Henry Rolleston, son and heir of John Rolleston of Swerkeston, to Thomas Stathum, knt., Henry Vernon, John Curson, John Both, Ralph Saucheverell, Henry Stathum, esquires, and others, of a messuage in Egynton called Semerplace, with fisheries, etc. Dat. 24 June, 8 Edw. IV. [1468]. (Every.)" [6] Another transcription: "Gift from Henry Rolleston, son and heir of John Rolleston of Swarkestone, esquire, to Thomas Statham, knight, Henry Vernon, John Curzon, John Bothe, Ralph Saucheverell, Henry Statham, esquire, Robert Staunton, Nicholas Statham, Thomas Fraunceys, John Bradshawe, William Morten, Thomas Broadhurst of the church of Morley, John Foster and Richard Rolleston, of a messuage in Egginton called Semerplace and all other messuages, lands, etc, which were of the gift of John Bothe, son of Henry" [7]

1475 "Grant from John Wyttyngtone of Derby, smythe, to John Bothe of Arlestone, esq., and John Fitzherbert of Etwelle, esq., of a messuage and croft in Beaureper. Witn. John Waundelle, Rob. Wyttyngtone, etc. Dat. 26 May, 15 Edw. IV. [1475]. (Woll. vii. 33.)" [8]
