Notes for Jacob Winebrenner

1820 Andrew Kershner, Seth Lane, and Christian Feitig posted bond for the administration, by Andrew Kershner, of the estate of Jacob Winebrenner, late of Washington County, Maryland. Dated June 14. [1]

1820 The Orphans Court ordered John Winebrenner to pay Andrew Kershner, administrator for the estate of Jacob Winebrenner, for assets held by John that belonged to the estate. [2]

1821 Andrew Kershner made the account of the estate of Jacob Winebrenner, listing debts due from Polly Winebrenner, widow Mary Winebrenner, Jacob Kershner, and others. Dated June 19. None of the names correspond to the heirs named in the 1839 estate account of Jacob's father, Christian Winebrenner. [3]

1839 A final account of the estate of Christian Winebrenner, Jacob's father, was reported by Andrew Kershaw on May 1. The account listed 7 equal payments ($18.18 each) to Philip Winebrenner, Christian Winebrenner, Catharine Snyder, Christiana Banrehiser, Sabastiana Winebrenner, Peter Winebrenner and to Jacob Winebrenner's heirs. Jacob' heirs each received one seventh ($2.58 each) of his share viz widow, John Winebrenner, Mary Barr, Sally Winebrenner, Peter Winebrenner, Joseph Winebrenner, and the heirs of Catharine Snyder. The heirs of Catharine Snyder, viz: Elizabeth Snyder, Andrew Snyder, Sally Snyder, Simon Snyder, John Snyder, and Mary Snyder, each received one sixth ($0.43 each) of her share. [4]
