Notes for Ludwig Mohler

Since Ludwig Mohler Senior reportedly died in 1754, I assume that subsequent events relate to this Ludwig Mohler Junior, as shown below.

1761 Ludwig, Jacob, and Henry Mohler, all from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, were naturalized on April 11, in Pennsylvania, as persons who conscientiously scruple to take an oath. Jacob and Henry might be cousins of Ludwig Mohler. [1] [2]

1761 Paul Gear sold land in Earl Twp described as adjacent to land of Ludwig Mohler and Jacob Lightly. This is likely next to the tract that Ludwig Mohler Senior patented in 1741. [3].

1762 Jacob Cochenour of Manheim Twp, Lancaster County, with security by Benjamin Landis, had a mortgage to Ludwig Mohler for 50 pounds, among others. [4]

1764 Ludwig Mohler and wife Ann purchased land, on November 14, in Earl Twp from Alexander Stedman, Charles Stedman, and Henry William Steigle and their wives Elizabeth, Ann, and Elizabeth. They then sold 193 acres of the land to John Rosh on November 14, 1766. [5] [6]

1768 Ludwig Mohler and wife Ann of Earl Twp mortgaged two tracts to John Brubaker. The two tracts had been patented in 1748 by Ludwig Mohler [7]. John Brubaker, mortgagee, acknowledged satisfaction from Ludwig Mohler, mortgagor, on April 16, 1768. [8]
