9 August 1500, Symonde Linche of Cranebroke clotheman. To be buried in the chauncell of oure Lady at Cranebroke. To the light of oure blissed Lady, of Ihu, of Seynt Xpofer, of Saint Sebastian, of Saint Mighell, of Saint Rocke, of Saint Antony, of Saint Kateryn, of Saint Margaret, of Saint Dunston to each 20d. To John Sampson, clerk, euery yere for 8 yeres to serve in the parissh church of Cranbroke
and to kepe the masse of Ihu there 5s.
To Kateryn, Clemens and Dorathee my doughters to euery of them £40 when maryed. Towards the reparacions of a gable for the steple of the parissh church aforesaid 10 marcs. Towarde the reparacion of the middill story in the parissh church £10 so that the seid story be begonne wt in 7 yeris after my decesse.
To Agnes, Johanne and Mercy doughters of John Netter 5 marcs. To Rauf Lynche a pack of wull. To my three susturs that is my suster Pett 20s., my suster Welforde 20s. and my suster Godleve 20s. To Thomas Pett 20s. To Thomas Hontyngfelde 20s. To Mercy my wif all my old nobles and a goblet wt a couer of siluer. Residewe to William Lynch my sonne and executor and Maister William Lynche my brother and John Brekyndene executors.
Last Will: If Mercy my wif, now being in oure lady bandis, be wt a man childe than the seid childe shalhave all my londes wherof I made unto my said wif a joynter when he cometh to 20 yeris. If a maide then 40s. at lawfull age or maryage. To William Lynch my sonne all my other londes.
