c 1776 Marmaduke Curtis was First Lieutenant in the Eighth Company, Third Battalion of the Continental Troops in New Jersey [1] [2]. Captain Marmaduke Curtis was of Murlington [3].

1783 Marmaduke Curtis, of Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, purchased land from John Pope, executor to the estate of William Delworth. [4]

1783 Marmaduke Watson Curtis purchased land in Mansfield Twp, Burlington County, from Joseph and Elizabeth Gibbs, on September 3. [5]

1784 Mary Curtis, daughter of William Imlay and niece of Joseph Imlay, was named in the will of Joseph Imlay. [6]

1784 Marmaduke Watson Curtis, hatter, of Mansfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, and his wife Mary, sold a house and two adjoining lots to John Pope, on September 13. [7]

1822 Marmaduke Curtis (born 13 May 1755) died on March 5 and was buried at Erie Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. [8]
