Keats-Rohan provides a biosketch of Robert de Braose. [1]
Norman, Domesday tenant of William de Braose in Wiltshire. One of the Tax Return texts (fol. 15a) identifies him as 'de Braose'. He may will have been a brother of William, and father of the Payne de Braose who was a contemporary of William's son Philip.
