Research Notes:

1810 Jacob Ritner lived in Middleton, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 2 (age Under 10), and 1 (age 26 thru 44); Females: 1 (age Under 10), 2 (age 10 thru 15), and 1 (age 26 thru 44). [1]

1814 On 1 September, Jacob and John Ritner were listed as privates on the payroll of militia commanded by Captain Jacob Marshall under Colonel Schappel, of the 43 Regiment, York County. [2]

1838 Jacob Ritner and Michael Ege posted bail for the administration by Jacob Hershey of the estate of Joseph Spangler, late of North Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1838 In November, the death of Jacob Ritner was recorded at the Second Presbyterian Church in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania with the comment Monaghan York County. [4]
