1762 Joshua Stokes was born 7th month, 29th day, 1762. [1]

1788 On 14 February, William Coate married Sarah Hollingshead at the Evesham Quaker meeting, Burlington County. Witnessed by Joshua Stokes and Deborah Hooton many others. [2]

1788 On 19 February, Joshua Stokes, of Evesham Twp, Burlington County, son of Joseph and Atlantic Stokes, married Deborah Hooton. There were many witnesses to the wedding. [3] [4]

The family of Joshua and Deborah Stokes was recorded in the Upper Evesham meeting records, Burlington County, New Jersey. [5]

1796 Joshua Stokes, son of Joseph, was named in the will of his grandmother Anna Stokes. [6]

1799 Joshua Stokes, son of Joseph and Atlantica Stokes, and Rebecca Matlack were married at the Evesham meeting, Burlington County, on 21 of fifth month, 1799. Witnessed by Thomas Hooton, Atlantica Hooton, Charles and Sabilla French, Atlantick Stokes. and others. [7] [8] [9]

1804 Joshua Stokes married, third, Lydia Evans. [10] [11]

c 1826 Joshua Stokes and wife Lydia were named with children remaining with them: Joseph W, Joshua, and Lydia, at the Upper Evesham meeting in Burlington. [12]
