1695-6 In 1st m. (March), Do. Do. for John Tatham, of 300 a. on Widow Ollive's mill creek, on the Salem Road, between said widow, John Chaffin, Nathaniel Cripps and John Chamney. 119 [1]

1681-2 On Jan. 7, for John Chaffing, of 100 acres, hounded S. by the Mill Creek, adjoining Robert Powell. Marginal Note: "This Survey belongs to Hannah Scott." [2]

1682 On April 29, for John Chaffin, of 35 a. in the townfield, E. Mathew Allen and Hannah Kimball, W. the town bounds, adjoining James Wills. 26 and 29 [3]

1683 On 18th day, 5th month, John Chafin died. Burlington Monthly Meeting. [4]

1694 On October 27, Deed. Robert Powell of Northampton River, son and heir of Robert Powell of Burlington dec'd, to Nathaniel Cripps of the same place, yeoman, for 150 acres, surveyed for his father as part of his 1-32 of a share, on the Northside of Mill Creek, along the townbounds between Benjamin Scott and John Chaffen. 405 [5]

1696 The administration of John Chaffon, of Burlington County, was granted to daughter Hannah Scott, widow. [6]
