1886 Abraham Forry died on August 15 and was buried at State Road Cemetery, near Freeport, (formerly Silver Creek) in Stephenson County, Illinois (US-20 & S Bunker Hill Rd Illinois). Abraham was born on October 9,1805. [9] An obituary reports [10]:
Abraham Forry was one of the first ministers of the Evangelical Association in Pennsylvania, but did not preach much after coming west, devoting himself exclusively to farming. His wives names are not listed in the obituary but it does list his surviving children. Six children by the first wife are as follows: John, Philadelphia; William W., Waterloo, Iowa; Moses, Cresco, Iowa; Mrs. W. H. Spitler, Freeport; Mrs. Joel Fry, Turner county, D.T.; Mrs. M. Bardell, Silver Creek; by the second wife, Mrs. William Dickover, Freeport; Charles, George and James, Freeport; Mrs. Stebbins, Iowa, and Mrs. Albert Baucher.
1903 Catharine Forry died on August 25 and was buried at State Road Cemetery, near Freeport, (formerly Silver Creek) in Stephenson County, Illinois (US-20 & S Bunker Hill Rd Illinois). Catharine was born on December 11, 1828.[11] [12]
1905 Malinda Esther Forry Dickover died on January 19 and was buried at Cedarville Cemetery, Cedarville, Stephenson County, Illinois. Malinda Esther Forry Dickover was born on October 17, 1853. [13] [14]
