Notes for Jacob Steiner

c 1725 Jacob Stoner, son of John Stoner and Catherine Brenneman, was born. [1] [2] [3]

Jacob Stoner married twice, secondly to Catherine. [4]

1756 Jacob Stoner was John Stoner's oldest son and received his father's land in Conestoga Township by deed in 1756. His brothers and sisters are named in the deed. [5]

1763 On 12 February, Jacob Stoner sold his land next to Michael Schenk in Conestoga Township to John Nydick of Lampeter Township. [6]

1779 On 2 June, Jacob Stoner dated his will in Conestoga Township. The will named wife Catherine. The executors of his will were Martin Bare and Abraham Newcomer of Conestoga Township. Probate date was 28 April, 1783. [7]

1781 On 4 February, Catherine Stoner dated her will in Conestoga Township, Lancaster County. It was proved on 25 Jul 1797. She divided her estate in thirds and gave one part each to her children, Barbara, Jacob and Catherine. The executors of her will were her son and two sons-in-law, Tobias Grieder and John Shuck. [8]
