If John Hinson was age 21 when he purchased land in 1791, then he was born by 1770.

If this is the right census record, then John Hinson had a child age close to age 15 in 1810. John Hinson was likely born before 1775. The land was adjacent to uncle John Hinson Sr. Did uncle John have a son named John?
