"Sir John D'Oyly, of Raunton, jure mat. living 1272 to 1313 at Raunton, died soon after." By his first wife he had a son "Sir John D'Oyly, Lord of Stoke near Oundle, co. Northampton." He married second, "Joane, dau. of Sir Rober de Knightley, co. Staff." who "died s.p." By his third wife he had a son Henry D'Oyly, Lord of Gnowshall and Couley, co. Staff." and a daughter "Alice D'Oyly, only child of 3d marriage, who left issue." [1]
