1609 Timothy Hinson, grocer, signed the second charter for the Virginia Corporation and first Colony of Virginia. [1]

1701 Eliz, daughter of Philip Henson, was baptized on December 25, at the parish register of St. Peters, New Kent County, Virginia. [2]

1708 John, son of Philip Hinson, was baptized on August 1, at the parish register of St. Peters, New Kent County, Virginia. [3]

1720 Joanna Hinson died on April 4. [4]

1778 Chancery Case against Ann Amos, Cumberland County, Virginia. Robert Hanson and wife Sarah, who is daughter of Ann Amos. [6]

1787 "Ordered that Charles Henson son of Robert Henson be bound to Martin Faris by the overseers of the poore according to law." Dated January 22 in the Cumberland County Order Book. [7]

1793 "Ordered that the overseers of the poor No. 1 bind out Charles Henson & Francis Henson to Charles Amos according to Law." [8]

1800 A chancery suit identifies their 3 children as Charles, Robert and Francis "Hinson" who are then under guardianship of uncle Martin Faris. [9]
