1810 John Walhay lived in Menallan Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15) and 1 (45 and over); and females: 2 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over). [2]

1814 Johan Wallhay, son of Johan and Elisa, was born on March 28. He was baptized on June 26, with sponsors Jacob and Eva Bender. [3]

1816 William Walhey was born on August 2, 1816, in Menallen Twp, Adams County, son of John and Elizabeth (Bender) Walhey, former a native of Armstrong County and son of Nicholas Walhey; latter a native of Dover, York County, daughter of Henry Bender, and a sister of Henry Bender, who was part owner of the original tract of Bendersville. [4]

1819 John Walhey died at age 50, a member of the Catholic Church. [5]

1820 John Walle lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 3 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (under 10), 2 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over). [6]

1836 Elizabeth Walhey warranted land, adjoining Jacob Bender, in Adams County, Pennsylvania. [7]

1840 Elizabeth Walhey lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (20 thru 29), 1 (40 thru 49), and 1 (60 thru 69). [8] Adjacent was the household of Henry Bender (age 50-60) and Jacob C Bender (age 50-60).

1850 Elizabeth Walley (age 70, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Cathrine Walley (age 50), and Margaret Walley (age 40). [9] William and Catharine Walley lived nearby with 3 children. Adjacent was the household of Jacob C Bender (age 69) and wife Eve (age 59).

1860 Elizabeth Walhey (age 84, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Cathaine Walhey (age 60). [10] William and Catharine Walhey were adjacent with 5 children. Next door was the family of George Bender (age 43) with 6 children and William Weigle (age 13).

186? Elizabeth Bender Walhey died at age 87, a member of the Evangelical Church. [11]
