c1690 Johannes Mollinger was born in Rucheim, Germany to Jacob Mollinger. [1] [2]

1717 Johannes Mollinger lived at Scharhof [3] with Mennonite minister Abraham Deutscher (Teuscher). [4]

1720 Father Jacob left Rucheim and joined Johannes Mellinger and took over a quarter of the tenancy at Hemshof. [5] [6]

1724 Father Jacob, Johannes Mollinger and Abraham Deutscher lived at Hemshof. [7] [8]

1738 Johannes Mollinger lived at Hemshof. [9] [10]

1743 Johannes Mollinger lived at Hemshof with wife, two sons and two daughters. [11]

1743-52 Johannes Mollinger died at Hemshof. [12]

Research Notes:

Johannes Mollinger may have married a daughter of Abraham Deutsch and Maria Meyer of Hemshof. [13]

c 1805 Johannes Möllinger was a pastor at Ruchheim [14]

In 1803, and again in 1805, the south German Mennonites decided, after much prayer and fasting, to ask Napoleon for some acceptable form of alternative service. Pastor Möllinger of the Ruccheim congregation was sent to begin negotiations with him to that end but was unable to even get to see him. The French Mennonites made five appeals to secure acceptable alternatives, in 1809, 1811, 1812, 1814, and 1829, but without any success. …
