1930 Clara K Wise, wife of John F. Wise, died in February and was buried at Mount Zion Cemetery, Churchtown, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Clara K Gleim Wise was born In 1858. [8] An obituary reports [9]:
Carlisle, Feb. 6 -- Mrs. Clara K. Wise, 72, widow of the late John S.[sic] Wise, formerly of Boiling Springs, died early this week at her home, Littleton, NC. Funeral services will be held from the J.C. Lutz funeral parlors Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Mt Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Wise is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nettie King of Littleton, and Mrs. Sarah Gaptton of Essex, NC; four sisters, Mrs. Harry D. Kauffman, Wilmington; Mrs.Rose Baner, Philadelphia; Miss Jean Gleim, Harrisburg; Mrs. A. D. Mentzer, Boiling Springs, and by one brother Nelson Gleim, of Camp Hill.
