Notes for Guy Dutoit

Documents recorded by Rodolphe Demont, notary in the vicinity of Moudon, contain several mentions of "guido detecto de cabanis supra meldunum parroche de mollens dyocessum lausannensis" (Cabanis is modern Chavannes, Mollens is modern Morlens in Fribourg). In one of these, 15 oct 1519, he appears to be donating money for the celebration of mass at Chavannes. His sons sold vineyards to Maurice son of the late Claude Detecto 24 aug 1528, recorded by the same notary. Still alive in 1522.

His testament was recorded 14 may 1512 by Michel Frossard, notary at Moudon. He asks to be buried next to his father and to his late brother Nicod at the church of St. Maurice at Morlens; bequests to various religious organizations; sons Rolet, Jean, and Antoine; daughter Jeanne wife of Nicod Cous (?) of Vuarmarens, Claudia wife of Claude Jordannaz of Carrouges, and Guillermette wife of Jean Roch.
