Notes for Nicholas Friedel

1669 Anna Catharina Reiffel, daughter of Rudolph and Anna Catharina Reiffel, was baptized at the Lutheran Church in Ittlingen, Heidelberg, Grand Duchy of Baden, Germany. [1] [2]

The christenings of the children of Nicolaus Friedel were recorded in the Lutheran Church Records of Hoffenheim, Sinsheim, Germany. The mother of the children was named as Ana Catharina. Nicholas was a master miller of Ittlingen. Hoffen is shown west of Sinsheim (Sinzen), Germany on a 1725 map. Ittlingen is south-east of Sinzen, between Sinzen and Eppingen. [3] The church in Hoffenheim was built in 1841 on the site of a dilapidated church from 1731, so the records recorded below are mostly from a church built before 1731. [4]
