1785 John Jacob Rudisily, son of John and Elizabeth Rudisilly, was born on October 3. He was baptized with grandfather John Jacob Rudisilly as sponsor on December 26 at Lischy’s (St. Peter’s) Reformed Church, North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1820 Jacob Rudisill lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 2 (under 10) and 1 (16 thru 25). [2]

1830 Jacob Rudisill lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 2 (5 thru 9), 2 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39). John and Samuel Nace and John Stambach were listed adjacent. [3]

1840 Jacob Rudesiell lived in North Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 2 (under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 2 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49). 1850 Jacob Rudisill (age 64, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Rudisill (age 55), Frona Rudisill (age 29), Mary Rudisill (age 29), Jacob Rudisill (age 20), Leah Rudisill (age 18), Sarah Rudisill (age 15), and Rebecca Rudisill (age 15). Jacob Rudisill was a farmer. Samuel Nace and Jacob Stambach were listed adjacent (on the prior page of the census). [5]

1854 Elisabeth Miller Rudisill died on September 23 and was buried at Saint Peters Church Cemetery, York County, Pennsylvania. Elisabeth Miller Rudisill was born in 1794. [6] [7]

1860 Jacob Rudisill (age 75, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Jacob Rudisill (age 29), Rebecca Rudisill (age 23), Leah Rudisill (age 20), and Jacob Mayer (age 18). Jacob Rudisill was a farmer. [8]

1856 Jacob Rudisill of North Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania dated his will on October 24. The will was proved on May 14, 1862. The will named only son Jacob, two daughters Veronica and Rebecca not yet of lawful age and other daughters. Six equal shares to daughter Veronica, daughter Catherine wife of John Myer, Leah spouse of Samuel Bollinger, daughter Sarah Ann wife of Andrew Danner, daughter Rebecca, and only son Jacob. [9]

1862 Johan Jacob Rudisill died on May 4 and was buried at Saint Peters Church Cemetery, York County, Pennsylvania. Johan Jacob Rudisill was born on October 3, 1785. [10] [11]

1909 Rebecca M Renoll died on February 24 in Jackson, York County, Pennsylvania. She was born in Pennsylvania, daughter of Jacob Rudesill and Elizabeth Miller. [12]

Research Notes:

Some researchers have named Adam Rudisill (1829-1914) as a son of this couple. However, this disagrees with the only son Jacob named in the 1856 will.

1850 Adam Rudesill (age 21, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Halifax, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Sweigard (age 47), Joseph Sweigard (age 25), William Sweigard, Jane E Sweigard (age 19), Margaret Sweigard (age 16), Sarah Rudesill (age 18), and John Rudesill (age 12). Adam Rudesill was a miller. [13]

1860 Adam Rudisil (age 31) lived in Jackson Twp, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah J Rudisil (age 28), Jacob M Rudisil (age 7), Isaiah A Rudisil (age 6), Samuel B Rudisil (age 2), and John W Rudisil (age 6/12). Adam Rudisil was a farmer. [14]

1914 Adam Rudisill, spouse of Elizabeth Spatz Rudisill, died on September 9 in Olivet, Hutchinson County, South Dakota of America. He was born on February 16, 1829, in North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania, United States of America. [15]
