1685 Roger Omer, son of Roger and Mary Omer, was baptized on May 28 at St John the Baptist, Margate, Kent England. [1] [2]

1762 Roger Omer wrote his will on June 19. [3]

In the Name of God Amen I Roger Omer of the parish of Saint John the Baptist in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent late yeoman being in tolerable good health and of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this Life and being desirous to settle that Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in writing in manner and form following that is to say First I do Give and devise unto Thomas Mary James Ann and John Squire and unto all and every other the child and children of my kinswoman Ann Squire wife of Thomas Squire of the parish of Saint John the Baptist aforesaid yeoman which she shall or may happen to leave at her decease lawfully to be begotten equally to be divided between them as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants and to their respective heirs and assigns all that messuage or Tenement with the Kitchen Buildings Gardens yards backsides lands and appurtenances thereunto belonging or appertaining situate lying and being in the parish of Saint John the Evangelist at or near a certain place there called East North Down and now in my own Tenure or occupation and if it shall happen that either or any of them the said Thomas Mary James Ann and John Squire or other the child or children aforesaid of my said kinswoman Ann Squire shall dye under his her or their age or ages of Twenty one years then I do devise the part of Shares of the said Messuage and premises of him her or them so dying unto the survivors or survivor of the the said children equally to be divided between them as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants and to their his or her respective heirs and assigns and until the said Thomas Mary James Ann and John Squire and other the child or children aforesaid shall have arrived to there respective ages of twenty one years it shall and may be lawful for and I do hereby give full power and authority to my executors hereafter named to take and receive in Trust to and for the use and benefit of the said children the Rents and profits of the said Messuage and premises and to equally divide and share the same to and amongst them when they shall have arrive to their said respective ages of twenty one years also I do Give and devise unto my Kinsman Daniel Swinford of Margate in the parish of Saint John the Baptist aforesaid Taylor for and during the Term of his natural life all that Messuage or Tenement with the Barn outhouses Buildings Gardens Yards Backsides Orchards and Lands thereunto belonging or appertaining containing in the whole by Estimation Two acres more of less with their and every their appurtenances Situate lying and being in the parish of Saint Peter the Apostle in the Isle of Thanet in the said county of Kent at or near a certain place there called Stone which said Messuage or Tenement in now unoccupied but the said Lands are now or late were in my own occupation he the said Daniel Swinford during the term aforesaid keeping the said premises in good and Tenantable Repair and from and after the decease of my said kinsman Daniel Swinford I do devise the said last mentioned Messuage Lands and premises unto all and every the child and children of the body of the said Daniel Swinford lawfully begotten or to be begotten equally to be divided between ____ them as Tenants in common and not as Joint Tenants and to his her and their respective heirs and for want of such issue I do devise One moiety of half part of the same lated mentioned messuage Lands and premises unto my kinsman Roger Omer of London Cordwainer and to his heirs and assigns and the other one Moiety of half part of the said Messuage Lands and premises I do devise unto my said kinswoman Ann Squire wife of the said Thomas Squire and to her heirs and assigns Also I do Give unto my kinsman the said George [Roger?] Omer the Sum of One hundred and twenty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to by paid out of my personal Estate which I compute to be equal in value to the said Messuage Lands and premises I have hereinbefore devised to my said kinsman Daniel Swinford. Also I do Give unto the said Thomas Squire the Sum of thirty pounds which he stands indebted to me on a Note of his hand Also I do Give unto the Four Children of Thomas Head of the parish of Saint Peter the Apostle aforesaid yeoman and Elizabeth his Wife my kinswoman the sum of Five pounds a piece making together the sum of Twenty pounds of like lawful money Also I go Give unto my kinswoman Mary Hope Omer Daughter of the Widow Omer late the wife of James Omer deceased the sum of One pound and one shilling of like lawful money Aldo I do Give to my Kinsman the said Roger Omer and Daniel Swinford my Executors hereafter name One Guinea each for their Trouble and pains in the Execution o this my Will Also I do Give unto my saide Kinswoman Ann Squire wife of the said Thomas Squire One large Silver Spoon markt RN. T. and one small silver dram cup markt R. O. Also I do Give unto my said kinsman Daniel Swinford One large Silver Spoon marked R. O. Two Silver Tea Spoons and my Silver Seal Also as to all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Household Furniture Moneys in the publick Stocks or Funds wheresoever of what kind Nature Degree or Quality soever the same shall exist and be at the time of my decease after my debts Legacys and Funeral expences are paid I do Give Two third parts thereof unto my kinsman the said Roger Omer and Daniel Swinford Esquire equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike and to the other remaining one third part thereof I do Give unto the said Roger Omer and Daniel Swinford upon Trust that they the said Trustees and the Survivor of them his executors or Administrators do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto my said kinswoman Ann Squire wife of the said Thomas Squire for the Term of her Natural Life the Interest profits and proceed of the same third part of the said personal Estate by me given in Trust aforesaid and I do will that the Receipt alone of the said Ann Squire without her said husband shall be a sufficient discharge for the Interest profits and proceed of the said third part of th said personal Estate and that the same shall not be enviert or liable at Law or in equity to the payment of the debts or Engagement of her said husband and from the decease of the said Ann Squire I do Give the said third part of the said personal Estate by me given in Trust aforesaid unto all and every the child and children of the said Ann Squire lawfully begotten or to be begotten equally to be divided between them and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns and I do order direct and appoint my said kinsmen Roger Omer and Daniel Swinford out of their respective parts of the said rest and residue of the said Goods Chattels and personal Estate by me before given to them and the said third part of the said personal Estate by me given in Trust as aforesaide to provide for the child of Mary Morris called or known by the name of Roger Omer a Bastard child until he is capable of going into Service to Husbandry Business and can provide for himself and I do make and appoint my said kinsmen Roger Omer and Daniel Swinford Joint executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time or times heretofore made and do publish and declare this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Roger Omer the Testator have to each sheet of this my last Will and Testament in number three affixed together set my hand and seal the nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty two and in the second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God od Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Roger Omer the Testator for and as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed oru hands as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Testator Mary Hummer Sarah Marsh Daniel Marsh.
