Research Notes:

1728 Johann Nickel Wolf was baptized on November 4 at the Evangelisch-reformierte, Baumholder, Birkenfeld, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. [1] [2]

1745 Johan Christoff Wolf, son of Hans Niclauss Wolf and Maria Elisabeth Wolf [Wolff], was baptized in October with sponsors Christoff Knitzer and Maria Elisabeth Wolffin. [3]

1746 Johan Niclaus Wolf and Maria Elisabeth Wolff were sponsors in May, at the baptism of Johan Niclaus, son of Elisabeth and Michel Debold. [4]

1757-58 Nicholas Woolf served in the French and Indian War with the Maryland militia. [5]

1771 Twins were born to George Hermann and wife Elisabetha on July 9. Frederick Wolff and wife were sponsors for the son and Johan Nicolaus Wolff and wife were sponsors for the daughter at the baptisms on December 27, 1771 at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County. [6] [7]

1771 Frederick Wolf, Nicholas Wolf, and Jonas Wolf were taxed in Berwick Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [8]
